James does refer to his son John of Baltimore (who apparently owes James a large sum of money), his son Matthew (the ancestor), and his daughter Ann who married someone with the last name of Bryson. As his executors James named his son Matthew along with Samuel Bryson who was probably the husband of Ann. The witnesses to the will were Robert Wray and Robert Simpson. They both testified in May of 1826 to the validity of the last will and testament of James Wilson. <_LF_>In his will, James bequeathed most of his property to his son Matthew. James mentioned a couple of times how his son John owes him money which was to be paid to the heirs of James. James also mentions having houses and property in both Columbia (Lancaster) Pennsylvania (aka. Wright's Ferry) and in Wrightsville (York) Pennsylvania. These two towns face each other across the Susquehanna River. James also bequeathed to his granddaughters Eleanor Wilson and Esther Bryson.
