Pat was an avid bowler having been in a league almost constantly since moving to Missouri. She was actively involved in church work plus spent a great deal of time with her eight grandchildren.

Pat got to shake hands with Dwight Eisenhower when he was campaigning in downtown Memphis during the 1952 campaign.
