Whomever wrote up the family sheet on the family of George and Elizabeth Douglass said that Luther was also born in Centerville (Turner) South Dakota, the same place he died at. It was probably a writing mistake. The 1860 census for Decatur county, Iowa said Luther was born in Illinois, which is most likely true.
