A handwritten family group sheet has the birthdates of all of the children of the family of Cyrus and Ruby (Bloss) Douglass and of the family of their son George L. Douglass. It also tells several other items, including: Cyrus and Ruby were the first couple married in Vermilion county Illinois and that their wedding date was Jan.27, 1825; their children were all born on the family homestead 4 miles south of Danville; their oldest son George was the first boy born in the county; and, their sons made the bricks for building their home. Also listed is the marriage on Christmas Day 1848 in Vermilion county of George L. Douglass and Elizabeth Ann Matier, and, the birthdates of all of their children. [O__0002]
