General
According to a story told by his father (in his book), Martin was two years old and was sitting at the dinner table. Littleberry was not there to say the blessing before dinner. So Martin leaned his little head over his plate and said "Lawza-massy, Lawza-massy [Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy]. Amen." then began eating.
