Job: ?, In the mid 1850's George moved to Boston and went to work for a butter dealer named Russell Dean. Russell was probably an uncle and was located at 74 Faneuil Hall Market in Boston. Within a few year, Russell and George were partners in the firm of Dean and Moore at 110 Lincoln Street selling flour and produce. George went on to other businesses over the next several years and eventually became quite prosperous. Later he bought a house in Somerville and became a farmer again. He was well known for his gardens, greenhouses and vegetables. George later went into real estate. By the time he died, the value of his estate was valued at around half a million dollars.
