Came to basically the eastern half of the state to visit three places -- Langston University, Central Oklahoma University and the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. I ended up getting two of three.

Langston was the first stop. It is a small college campus just northeast of Oklahoma City and near Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.

I attempted next to photograph the campus sign at Central Oklahoma University. I had previously gotten the coordinates of the one and only sign I could find on campus using Google Street. However, when I arrived, it was a small park. I drove further west in case the GPS had fallen short. I even went into the Garmin GPS to the location of all nearby colleges and universities and it did not list Central OK. So I gave up wondering what had gone wrong. Turns out, when I later looked on Google Maps online that the campus was across the street from the park! Aaaarrrrrgh!!!

My third stop was the Chickasaw National Recreation area. I arrived at what I thought was the visitor center only to learn that the park do not have a visitor center -- the building I thought was it is just park admin. I drove around the park a bit including the campgrounds and a small water fall.
