pI wanted a place to photograph a sunrise over a large body of water. The Sandy Point Beach fit the bill as it was just 20 minutes east of where I spent the night in West Greenwich. I arrived 40 minutes before the sunrise and found a great spot to park and to sit on the large rocks at the edge of the water. Then I waited as Mother Nature painted me a beautiful picture. The birds were flying around and occasionally got into a squawking match of sorts. Only two other people showed up for the sunrise and we three spread out across the beach. Mother Nature gave us what we hoped for -- a picture-perfect sunrise.
