I visited this city in 2015. I returned on this trip to visit the homes of
George Eastman and Susan B. Anthony.
Got a couple of bonuses too. One, I saw there is a University of Rochester. Thus, I
photographed their campus signs for my collection.
The other bonus was getting to visit a Toastmasters club. When deciding if a club is
worth visiting, I check out the DCP (Distinguished Club Program) stats for the club.
This gives me an indication of how active/inactive the club is doing for members
earning awards, people joining the club, and, the membership level is sufficient
to put on a good meeting. I also look at the club's website -- is it just the
generic one from FreeToastHost or has the club put an effort into adding to it.
And, under the "Meet Our Members" section, are many listed and do they have photos
and something written by the members. Lastly, the club meets at the time I am in town.
I found District 65 club #4840 meeting at the Monroe Community College.
Thus, the club name is MCC. Great group. Despite it being the summer break at a college
club, there were 11 members and 2 guests present. Some good speeches heard.
