I have been to Pennsylvania many times and will very likely return in the future. At this time,
central Pennsylvania is as far back as I can trace my direct Wilson family line. Some lines
(aka. family tree branches) that married into the Wilsons also lived in the state, in the
north central part of the state. I spent some time on this trip doing some family history
research, mostly in Huntingdon county. In retirement, I will need to spend a week or two in
this state researching.
The state also has many colleges that I wanted to visit to photograph their campus signs.
And, in the southwest corner of the state is a national park facility, Fort Necessity, the
fort that launched George Washington onto the pages of history.
