Purpose of this trip: 1. Provide Toastmasters training for newly-elexted club officers 2. Photograph signs at two colleges in Wichita 3. Photograph University of Tulsa that I was unaware of its existence a couple years ago when in town 4. Photograph signs at six colleges in Arkansas, one of which is a repeat 5. Visit three national parks in Arkansas

KANSAS: Been to Wichita many times before and getting to know the town well. Been to most every portion of town
OKLAHOMA: Been to Tulsa 2 - 3 times in the past. Always think of it as the headquarters of my favorite pizza, Mazzio's (formerly known as Ken's)
ARKANSAS: Covered much of the western part of the state on this trip including some parts it was the first visit. Got to drive a bit in Texas (west of Texarkana).
MISSOURI: Only Springfield was a stop for Evangel College, a school I was unaware of its existence when I photographed other schools in town

MISSED VISITING:
--Nothing

OBSERVATIONS: Some observations made while traveling in this area:

1. Nothing noted. It was somewhat fun to be back in Fort Smith, the town where I lived at age three and have my furthest-back memories

The Bests:

• After this trip, I have just over 300 college campuses visited to photograph at least one of their signs. I am to hear in mid-July whether Guinness accepts this for their record book.
• Always fun to visit with the Toastmasters in Wichita. So many of the ones I have known for years were absent on this day

The Worsts:

• Oklahoma and Kansas and their toll roads
• The humidity of Midwest summers

• Driving: 24 hours in 3 days

• Major Universities: 10 (1 repeat) -- Bethel (repeat), Friends, Newman, Tulsa, Southern Arkansas, UAR-Pine Bluff, UAR-Little Rock, Central Arkansas, UAR-Fort Smith, UAR-Fayetteville, Evangel
• Pictures Taken: 88 (and deleted 11 of them)
• National Parks: 2 new ones -- Little Rock Central High School, Fort Smith (repeat from long ago), Pea Ridge (it became #165 park for me to visit)
