I feel such deep roots in Ohio. The Wilsons lived in a couple of towns -- Zanesville and Xenia -- in the state before my great grandfather moved to Kansas City in 1892. Also, my father's mother's ancestors lived in the state, south of Cleveland as that territory first became available for settlement. And, in the southwest corner of the state is Clermont County, just east of Cincinnati. There, during the 1800's, lived a couple of other families who decendants eventually married into the Wilsons. Lastly, a Wilson first cousin still lives in the state. I planned a visit with him while in the area but it did not work out.

There are a number of colleges I wanted to visit on this trip to photograph their campus signs. Also, two national park sites were worth a visit.
