I often come to Georgia, it seems. Atlanta is quite a hub. This trip I was in the state to visit a number of university campuses. I also planned to visit a couple whom I know from Toastmasters when they lived in Wichita. She moved to Savannah in 2012 and, as I learned during this trip, he has yet to sell the house in Wichita. Thus, only she was in Savannah.

My Savannah friend and I ate at the Bull Street Taco restaurant, a popular place in an artsy part of town. I learned about SCAD -- Savannah College of Arts and Design. One of their buildings was just a few blocks from the restaurant. After we ate, we walked to see it. Then we walked to the nearby Forsyth Park. It was an absolutely gorgeous evening. Several weddings were happening by the very large and beautiful fountain. Young adults were in tuxedos and fancy dresses -- apparently that tradition lives on. Lot of great architecture in that old part of town. Fun. And, it gave me a chance to spend any time with my friend whom I had not seen in ten years and had really spent little time before having any conversations. While eating, she had the waiter take our photos.

This trip completes my visit to all colleges, national parks and US Presidential places in Georgia. Thus, unknown if I will return to this state although I could be flying through Atlanta on the way to somewhere else.
