One of my more recent goals during traveling is to photograph the sign at all of the major U.S. colleges and universities. That is around 250 of them. To get all of them in a 300-mile radius of Kansas City, several weekend trips were taken. This is to record the results of those long weekend trips with the colleges in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin really only has two major universities. One is in Milwaukee and the main campus of the university of Wisconsin is in the capital city of Madison. I visited both during one morning in October. While Marquette is more like a "downtown" university, WIsconsin had lots of acres and was quite nice.

Along the highways I noticed the same tall white brush-like weeds growing on the sides. Cannot recall seeing them in years past but there were millions of them in Indiana and Wisconsin. Bet they would be quite photogenic when the sun shines behind them.
