Utah has many large national parks. I had visited several in the past. This trip was for getting the rest of them.

However, as I later learned at a visitor center in Kanab UT, Grand Staircase is part of the bureau of land management and not the national park service. I learned that there is not really a sign anywhere saying "welcome to Grand Staircase". And, there is not really one feature to go see. You just drive through it or hike through it. So, I skipped this place.
