I have been to Springfield several times including as far back as the 1960's when my family spent a night there at a Ramada on our way to Kansas City from Tennessee. I have also been there for Toastmasters events in the past. This time I wanted to visit some Toastmasters clubs plus see the room at The Library Central that I was booking for use in January for the District 22 TLI (aka. Club Officers Training).

I has a bit of time to kill so I drove around Springfield to see what the city is like. I did some errand shopping and went by an AAA office to pick up some makes for an upcoming trip. All in all, a nice good-sized city in the Midwest.
