I have been to Topeka many times, some for personal reasons and many for Toastmasters. This trip was for Toastmasters. I wanted to visit some of the clubs in town, one, to finally see them in action at a regular club meeting. Two to see people I know but see rarely. And three, to check out the facilities for the district Winter club officer training that I am coordinating. I was also getting recruits to assist with the training as well as hearing feedback from the club members as to what they thought about earlier training sessions.
