I had already seen, long ago, the other two military academies -- naval in Annapolis and air force in Colorado Springs. This was a chance to see the army academy where so many famous generals have begun their careers. George Washington was here during the Revolutionary War.

I think it is funny how the Army has signs/banners/etc scattered that say "Beat Navy". A bit of rivalry! That is a huge game each year. My father, my uncle and my cousin all were Navy guys and to them it is all about "Beat Army".
