I knew of this place from someone who lived here as a child. Plus, being in the Adirondacks, I figured it had to be a beautiful place. There are many lakes around it. And, like other northern New York towns, rush hour is the lunch time period of 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Famous author Robert Louis Stevenson had a cottage here that is still a landmark.
