Teddy Roosevelt's Sagamore Hill Home, a national park, is here. Thus, I wanted to
visit it since it is a national park site. However, I have already exceeded my
personal goal of visiting 100 national parks. This park makes #104. And, even
better, visiting here means I have now been to the home or library of every U.S.
President from George Washington to George W. Bush. Presumably President Obama
will someday build his library somewhere in the Chicago area (vs. Hawaii). But
it probably will be 2018 or so by the time it is open to the public.
I was at Roosevelt's home too early for it to be open. I took photos from the exterior
including the surrounding grounds and views.
