Only reason I really wanted to visit this city is that it is one of the largest cities in the U.S. and I have a goal of visiting the top 100 largest cities. The University of Miami is here and I also visit most of the major universities (although there is no specific goal number for that). O

Biscayne National Park looked like a great place. Unfortunately, most of the park itself is beneath the water's surface. Or, one can tour by boat. I only spent a few minutes there (and good thing, too, given the next paragraph).

I absolutely regret my time spent in Miami -- two hours longer than I expected. Rush hour traffic lasts until at least 10:45 (whicn is when I finally got out of town). Stop every half mile south to north along Dixie Hwy. And sometimes it was two light cycles to get through a given light.

I hope I never have to return here again. Plus, of all cities in the U.S., I feel more uncomfortable here than anyplace else, period.
