A river named New River runs through the mountains east of Charleston. A national parks site is
here called "New River Gorge". I stopped here to see the beautiful scenery plus to add another
national park visited to my list towards visiting 100 of them. This park makes #79.
I did not happen to see, or go out of my way to find, the visitor center for this park. I had
found a place that I thought would be the most scenic, and went there since this park is quite
large, north-and-south-wise, that is. And wouldn't you know it, when I get to this place, they
are constructing a new bridge and had the old one set up as a one-way with a traffic iight back
a ways to control one-way traffic. But I still got my photos.
