This town is where James Madison had his home called Montpelier. It makes US President #38 of 43 to visit. the town is sometimes called Montpelier Station and is just west of the town of Orange.

There is a two-hour guided tour of the home and the history behind the man called "The Father of the Constitution". Thegrounds have a number of out buildings and gardens.

The day I was there they were preparing for a huge event that celebrates the anniversary of the Constitution. Huge tents were up everywhere.
