I have been to Houston a couple of times before. The original plans of this trip included a trip here to visit my brother. But after I planned the trip and made flight and rental car reservations, he upped and moved to near Austin. That changed my itinerary somewhat. I also wanted to visit Houston to see a former co-worker and fellow Toastmaster.

Additionally, Rice University is in town. I wanted to visit the campus.
