I needed to come to this town for three reasons. One was to photograph the state capitol building -- #40 of 50. The second reason was to see the campus of Ohio State University. Third was to visit a first cousin that lives here. I never did find a sign that actually said "Ohio State University" on it. Zero.

It was fun visiting my cousin and his family. I had met his wife a couple of times in the past. I believe the last time I saw them was ten years ago when they came to the memorial services for my father. He might have come to Kansas City in that ten year time to visit his father and I met them for lunch.

This time I also got to meet their two children, one age 11 and the other age 3. Cute kids, he is a very personable young man and several times said that he was glad to meet me or was glad that I came for a visit. He even put his arm around me as we headed out the door for me to leave.

Ohio seems to love Bob Evans restaurants because they are everywhere.
