Been to Springfield two or three times before. This time I wanted to photograph the state capitol building. It was #30 towards my goal of photographing all 50 capitols. Additionally, I wanted to visit President Lincoln's home and museum (for the third time) to photograph them towards my goal of visiting all Presidential homes/museums.

Springfield is a nice little town. I was there early on a Saturday morning. It was a chilly 50 degrees but sunny. A few walked/joggers/bikers out and about but little driving traffic. I was able to stand in the middle of the street to photograph the capitol.
