I was in Galena in 1984. I returned to again see President Grant's home here.

I was pleasantly surprised at how hilly and pretty the area around Galena is while driving into the town. I remembered how hilly the actual town is, homes built on hillsides. Grant's home has quite a view.

Grant's Tomb is in Manhattan NY. If it were in Galena, I would have checked to see who is buried there.
