Using objects and images from the museum’s ever-growing and vast collection, the McKinley Gallery contains the largest collection of McKinley artifacts in the world. The exhibit, on permanent display, chronicles the life and career of our 25th president from his birth to tragic death at the hands of an assassin. The exhibit also explores the construction of the McKinley National Memorial and the unfortunate fate of McKinley’s Canton “front porch” home.
The museum has a hands-on interactive science center and a planetarium. The Keller Gallery develops several exhibits each year, mostly focused on the museum’s extensive artifact collection. It also hosts traveling exhibitions from the Smithsonian and other institutions. The museum is the offical historical center for Stark County, Ohio.
LARRY PERSONAL NOTE: THIS IS AN IMPRESSIVE LOOKING PLACE
