Page 575 of the 1892 book 'Biographical and Historical Memoirs of Muskingum County Ohio' (author unknown) tells of a Homer L. Stamets that married Nancy E. Wilson, daughter of William C. Wilson and Mary G. Prior. It states that William Wilson is the son of Matthew Wilson of Ireland and settled on Irish Ridge (about six miles south of Zanesville) in Muskingum county. This likely not ancestor Matthew is likely the one buried in Cody Cemetery in Frazeyville, his estate was handled in 1861 by a William C. Wilson. [0729]
