Obituary dated Jun.02, 1927 in Akron, Plymouth county, Iowa of Maverette Ann (Miller) Moore. It says she passed away on May 28, 1927 at the home of her daughter Mrs. J.W. Hedges [Jennie Floy Moore]. It went on to say she was born Nov. 09, 1845 in Brattleboro [Windham county] Vermont, the daughte of John and Jane Miller. She married Newell Sidney Moore in Brattleboro on Oct.19, 1862 and they resided in West Dummerston for a year before moving to Dubuque where Newello was in the lumber business for 26 years. They moved their family to Akron in March 1892. Rev. E.C. Davis officiated at her burial ceremony. The obituary describes Maverette as well as tells of her surviving relatives before she was buried in the Riverside Cemetery. [1120]
