Relatives

The Relatives section shows family connections for the person you're viewing. Each relative's name is clickable to view their profile.

Immediate Family

Father - The biological or adoptive father of this person.
Mother - The biological or adoptive mother of this person.
Spouses - All marriage partners, shown in chronological order by marriage date when known. This includes both blood relatives who married within the family and those who married into the family.
Siblings - Brothers and sisters who share both the same father and mother (full siblings).
Half-Siblings - Brothers and sisters who share only one parent (either same father or same mother, but not both).
Children - Biological or adopted children of this person.

Extended Relationships

Children of Spouses (Step-Children) - Children that a spouse had with someone else, who are not the biological children of this person and are not blood relatives of the family line. These are typically children from a spouse's previous marriage to someone outside the family. Children whose last name matches the family surname are excluded, as they are blood relatives.
Spouses of Spouses - Former or other spouses of this person's spouse(s), excluding this person. Only includes people who are completely outside the family line - meaning they were neither born with the family surname nor ever married someone with the family surname. For example, if your spouse was previously married to Mr. Jones (who has no connection to the family), Mr. Jones would appear here.
Why don't some people appear? "Children of Spouses" and "Spouses of Spouses" only show people who have no blood or marriage connection to the family line. If someone's last name matches the family surname (born into the family) or they married someone with the family surname (married into the family), they won't appear in these sections because they're already connected to the family tree through other relationships.
