While in New England in 1986, when I was doing family history research in Boston, my then-wife drove to the tip of Cape Cod. The report was gorgeous scenery. Cape Cod has long represented the idyllic place to be. The rich and famous go there, or even live there.

In 2007 several of us from kansas City were going to ride the MS-150 from Boston to Provincetown. However, one person had knee surgery and the other had emergency surgery for a health issue. That cancelled the trip.

I absolutely had to visit all of Cape Cod on this trip. It was absolutely worth it. Beautiful fails to properly describe it. And, as a bonus, I got a last-minute chance to visit a friend who was staying at the home of a family member. Two and a half hours of sitting under a covered seating area by the water and a swimming pool on a near-perfect weather day.
