I have long wanted to visit this island. In fact, the only place in Canada that I have more wanted to visit is Banff National Park. The populations of the entire island is just over 150,000. The island is just under 2,200 square miles big. That makes the population density be about 70 people per square mile. That compares to well about 1,150 people per square mile in my home of Johnson County Kansas.

I expected Prince Edward Island to have an incredible feeling similar to what I have felt the three times I have been to Princeton NJ. I also expected it to be my favorite place I visited during the entire 17 weeks of this trip. National parks. Red sand beaches. Lighthouses. Fall foliage trees. And the house from "Anne of Green Gables". I promised a good friend to send photos of this house.
