I came here to see the Hamlin State Park on Lake Ontario. I had the entire park to myself (except one maintenance guy who was trying really hard to not work) on the rainy Monday morning.

The Lake Ontario State Parkway leading to the park is quite nice. Four lanes with divided median. However, six miles of the road, three miles either side of the entrance to the park, is bone-rattling bumpy. And I mean every single secodn you are on it, you are rattling. If you were to start saying 'ahhhhh" for as long as you could, you would definitely hear the bouncing in the voice.

I was surprised to see the numerous weeping willow trees leading to the entrance to the park since I had not seen them anywhere else.
