I learned that instead of pronouncing it "Vin-sin-knees" that it is "Vin-sins". French!

I had been to this town last year to photograph the home of President Harrison. This time it was to see two other attractions. One, a national park (my #104th one to visit) at the George Rogers Clark Memorial (someone I had otherwise never heard of) and the Red Skelton Museum (one of my most favorite comedians while growing up).

The Clark Memorial sits next to the Wabash River and has a very beautiful highway bridge going over it. Unfortunately, it was a totally gray cloudy day so the photographs turned out less than hoped for with the dim lighting. What most impressed me was learning of this history of the Revolutionary War battle that took place here and what that victory did for the U.S. in the years to come.
