I came for just one reason -- to visit the plantation homes of both Presidents John Tyler and William H. Harrison (who also has a home in Vincinnes IN). Tyler makes #37 of 43 for visiting the homes/libraries of all US Presidents.

Those who live in the corridor of the John Tyler Memorial Highway area are fortunate indeed. They have put in several miles of a five-foot wide asphalt walking/biking path along the way. It passes cornfields and homes and trees. A couple of bridges were installed too. And, they were busy adding more miles of trail to extend it west. It will probably be 15 - 20 miles long when they are done with it. Should be pleasant, easy and especially safe since it is away from the highway traffic.
