I surprised myself by going this area -- Hollywood Blvd.. I told myself that I would not bother to gawk at the glitz of the Hollywood elite. The mansions, the actor watching, etc. Then I decided that I should see it once. And I did. And it is one of those places that only needs to be seen once, like Four Corners or Quigley's Castle in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

I was originally going to the nearby Guiness Museum but between reviews of how the place is a mess and after really thinking about what I would see there, I opted for seeing the stars in wax form. Close enough. And it was only so-so to see. I was done in maybe 15 minutes.

And near this museum is that sidewalk that has all of the stars embedded dedicated to well-known Hollywood stars. Had to see that too since it was too convenient to otherwise miss. However, there must have been, and I do not exaggerate here, at least 50,000 people walking around and driving around the area near the intersection of Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave. It was absolutely nuts. And crazy. Sometimes you had to come to a stop on the sidewalk because of so many bodies. And there were dozens and dozens of panhandlers and other such folks trying to get you to give them money or buy something from them. I was glad to leave the area.
