I visit the campuses of major U.S. universities whenever possible. I have not kept track of which ones nor have I photographed all of them. When getting to a campus, there is normally not one building that represents to university. I often try to find the entrance sign. Anyway, UCLA is a big name school and their football team has played home games at the Rose Bowl for a few decades. They were forced to use the Rose Bowl because the city of LA does not want to take up prime real estate for parking lots.

I sort of headed towards the building named after John Wooden. But once I got to where the address was, I was entering an underground parking garage. I backed out of that then, within the limited space available there, I took a few photos then left. I was thinking I had better get to the beach since it was now getting into the afternoon. I had no idea how prophetic that line of thinking was, but I was about to find out!!!
