Dover-Foxcroft (pop. 2,600) is a nice, well-kept active area. They had a nice sports complex with many games going on.

The homes are maintained and have water and mountains as their views. This town even had Cingular/ATT cell phone reception. Few places in Maine has that.

The drive west to east on highway 6/15 getting to Dover-Foxcroft was a nice area. It seemed alive and active. The drive northeast out of Dover-Foxcroft on highway 11 looked like (per Sherry) a quite prosperous area too.

If we end up in the Millinocket area, Dover-Foxcroft would be our main "big city" for such things as doctors/dentists and some shopping.
