Farmington, NM is in the extreme northwest corner of New Mexico. It is the gateway to the Four Corners point.

Just a few days prior to my arrival (on September 14, 2004), President Bush had visited the town while campaigning. It was the first time that a sitting U.S. President had ever visited Famington.

I originally intended to spend a night or two in this town. Good thing as I did not like this place. For being a relatively small city (population: 38,000), it took almost 30 minutes just to drive through it.

No pictures taken in Farmington.
