Petroglyph National Monument is located just a few miles northwest of Albuquerque, NM. Take exit 154 (Unser Blvd.) from I-40. The park is divided into three sections for the tourists. The ancient inhabitants put their artwork onto the sides of rocks.
Side note: these desert plants as a group really smell sweet, yet light.
