Recap Statistics of Ancestors

Most genealogical software will have some type of report showing statistics of your family's data. This is just one example of the countless possibilities.

NOTE: when looking at the below statistics, remember that there are cases where cousins (i.e. second, third, etc.) marry, or, where siblings in one family marry siblings of another family (e.g. the brothers Johnson marry sisters Smith), there is a common ancestor through each line. These common ancestors are also known as DOUBLE ANCESTORS. There are cases where a couple could be on the family tree in three branches, thus are TRIPLE ANCESTORS.
