Family of Jacob Shantz (1710-1781) who came in 1737 to Philadelphia in the ship Townsend and located to Montgomery county Pennsylvania. Isaac Shantz (1748-1802) raised a family in Montgomery county Pennsylvania, his widowed wife moved to Ontario with her son Christian. Christian Shantz (1779-1856) moved in 1806 with several other family members to Canada. These families might be related to the ancestors but that it yet to be determined. [W__0557]
