The Dan Wilson home at 107 Ayers Drive in Jackson, Madison county, Tennessee. The family bought this home in the summer of 1963. This house had the 'famous backyard' that was the second home to more than fifty children who played various sports and games. This picture was taken on Apr.18, 1985. By this time the two large weeping willow trees (one in the front yard on the left, one in the back yard on the left) were both gone. Also a fence had been put up around the back yard patio. Interestingly, the 'home plate' area was still visible because so many children had stood in that area so many times from 1963 thru 1971 that it was almost a permanent spot. [W__0267]
