Home of Edwin Lawrence Wilson and Evon Jeanette (Searls) Wilson at 560 Kansas City Ave. in Excelsior Springs, Clay county, Missouri. This house was across the street from the Elm's Hotel. Picture was taken in Oct. 1958. Based on what was written on the back by Evon, it sounds like she is just getting ready to move into the house. On the back she wrote:Side view. There's a bay window to the right on the porch that is real pretty but I think it's going to have to go. Hope the kids [three are sitting on the steps] don't go with the house. I'll have a heck of a time getting used to neighbors. The one on the north knows everybody's business for blocks around. [W__0145]
