Edwin Lawrence Wilson portrait taken sometime in the late 1920's. The photographer was Lytle of Springfield, Greene county, Missouri. The picture seems to have been artifically colorized by the photographer after it was taken. A handwritten note by Evon (Searls) Wilson, was tucked inside the portrait's cover, written on a notepad sheet with pre-printed logo saying 'The Milwaukee Road, America's Resourceful Railroad, the railroad of creative crews' (Evon's brother, Cluett Searls, worked for this railroad). The note said: 1980: picture taken in Springfield, Greene county, Missouri probably about 1928 - 1929 while putting in store for Chas. Cooks Paints. We were married in 1930 so he was about 34 in this picture. [W__0108]
