Edwin's enlistment record is given on the back side of the form. The discharge paper says Edwin was born in Kansas City, enlisted at age 22, was a druggist by occupation, was 5' 11' tall with brown eyes and hair. The enlistment record says he enlisted on Dec.13, 1917 at Fort Riley, Kansas. It also said that when he was discharged that he was married and received a payment of $78.09.
