New York state published in 1786 an alphabetical listing of the American Loyalists Claims, Series I. In it were two men with the last name of Ireland: John of Charlotte of Duchess county and Adam of Manor Cortland in Westchester county. The dates are given on the facing page but the copy cut off the year portion of those dates. That page was later found and 'pasted' to the right of the first page. Since the dates for the listed Adam Ireland are twenty years after he died, the Adam Ireland listed here is likely not ancestor. [S__0218]
