Pages from a book reportedly titled "History of Gill [Massachusetts] Genealogies" that lists several generations of the Carter family starting with immigrant Rev. Thomas Carter born 1610. Three generations of men named Benjamin are given: 1694-1806 [almost 112 years old!] of Auburn Massachusetts married Sarah Stone and had two sons one being Benjamin born 1747 died 1826 married Mercy Gale and had seven children including Sarah (1795-1866) who married Eli Miller and they lived in Brattleboro, Windham county, Vermont.
