James Holmes will written Oct.28, 1749. He says he is of Pensborough [Pennsylvania] which, in 1749, was still considered to be in county Lancaster and split to Cumberland county the following year. He names his wife Sarah but his first wife, Sarah Lyons, reportedly died in 1745. James also mentions his daughter Isabell. [D__0242]
